BETHALTO — The St. Louis Regional Airport will set the scene for Horse A-fair, an equestrian event to benefit Illinois Equine Disaster Relief Fund and Trail Advocacy Fund of the Illinois Equine Foundation and Horsemen’s Council of Illinois.

Running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, the day will include something for every horse lover and owner.

The event offers trail rides and optional trail obstacles and contest inside the airport grounds until noon. Educational speakers, presentations, displays and vendors will be available from 12 to 4 p.m. Attendees can experience all-day networking with the Metro East horse community.

Sponsors include Horsemen’s Council of Illinois, Illinois Horse Network, St. Louis Regional Airport, Top Secret Designs, Brian E. Keister and Associates, Indian Hills Thoroughbred Farm, Hamel Coop Grain Company, abchorsemanship.com, and Metro Deaf Interpreting.

Donations of $20 can be made, or pay $49 for a 2016 Horsemen’s Council membership. Vendor space is available for $15.
